Ouachita Hills Academy and College provides opportunities for students to receive a quality, Christ-centered education that prepares them to be workers in the field for Christ. What a privilege and yet humbling experience to see more and more young people coming to Ouachita Hills in their search for a well-rounded education that provides not only strong academics in a spiritual atmosphere, but also a vocational program which offers opportunities to learn practical, useful life skills.
One of these vocational training areas is construction. Staff and students work on projects utilizing plumbing, carpentry, and electrical and other skills. This is a double blessing to students. Not only do they receive valuable training, but they also receive the satisfaction of seeing their own contribution to Ouachita Hill's expansion and development.
The needs for our growing institution are many. Several projects can not continue without additional funding. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us so this important part of the educational process can continue!
Academy Boys’ Dormitory
Our current boys’ dormitory is an old, large four-bedroom home with a double-wide mobile home serving as additional housing. Both structures are full to capacity. A new dormitory would allow us to accept more male students, provide more housing options for staff and provide a more permanent campus structure. This most needed boys’ dormitory is currently under construction but the building still needs insulation, drywall, paint, flooring, trim, fixtures, heating and air.
The estimated funds needed is $150,000. Even smaller donations can help us to continue working and to get closer to our goal of completing this most needed structure.
Science Laboratory
Providing a science laboratory where students can enhance their classroom experience is key to their learning. Having the proper equipment will also allow them to explore and understand God’s creation.
Our new science lab and equipment that meet not only safety standards but also help students enjoy their learning experience.

School Library
As we continue finishing our new administration building, we would like to provide to our students a furnished library enhancing their educational experience at Ouachita Hills.
The area now used as the library is an 8X15 room that also serves as a meeting room. The room new library contains enough space but still needed are shelving, tables, chairs, librarian desk, and a computer system to make our library fully functional.
