If devastating fires or a tornado came through your home town, who could you depend on? Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) help injured and needy people in a disaster before professional help arrives. This weekend, Jim and Becky Ingersoll came and presented a 20-hour training course for OHA students and staff to be a part of CERT. This opens doors for OHA to respond to disasters around the country. Not only did we receive a lot of information, but we also gained hands-on experience in making fake injuries, doing triage, and treating various conditions. The hope is that OHA can respond to major disasters and let Jesus help others through us!
